Tough but fulfilling experience.
As the president of KCIG, I was responsible for the overall management of the club. This included planning and executing events, managing the club's finances, and ensuring the well-being of the club members. It was a tough but fulfilling experience that taught me a lot about leadership and teamwork.
A learning journey.
This role has given me the invaluable opportunity to engage with people from diverse backgrounds, forging a deeper appreciation for the Korean culture while expanding my leadership skills.

Through overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, I have refined my time management skills, balancing administrative responsibilities with strategic planning to create meaningful experiences for members. Delegating tasks effectively has been crucial in empowering my team while maintaining efficiency, and handling club administration such as budgeting and venue bookings has strengthened my organizational abilities. Additionally, leading meetings, presenting proposals, and addressing large audiences have helped me develop strong public speaking skills and the confidence to articulate ideas clearly.

The act of giving.
As the Volunteer Management Committee member of Project ASL, I was responsible for recruiting and managing volunteers for the club's events. This included planning and executing volunteer training sessions, managing the volunteer database, and ensuring the well-being of the volunteers. It was a fulfilling experience that taught me a lot about the act of giving and the importance of community service.
Heart to heart.
This role has given me the unique opportunity to engage with people from diverse backgrounds, which has touched my heart deeply and expanded my empathy and communication skills.

Through Project ASL, I have had the privilege of contributing to a cause that promotes inclusivity and understanding for the Deaf community. Coordinating volunteer efforts has helped to enhance my service skills and foster a sense of camaraderie among team members. Additionally, planning and executing events has strengthened my project management abilities, teaching me the importance of attention to detail and adaptability. The big stage.
As a programmes committee member of SLC, I was responsible for planning and executing the club's events. This included managing an annual concert called "SIGNature" and various workshops for the club members. It was a challenging but rewarding experience that taught me valuable skills in event management and teamwork.
Bridging the gaps.
Through this role, I was introduced to the Deaf community, allowing me to bridge communication gaps and foster inclusivity. As an instructor, I have also had the opportunity to teach basic sign language, enhancing communication skills and promoting inclusivity within the club.

Being a committee leader for the first time, I honed my leadership skills by coordinating with team members to ensure the smooth execution of events. Organizing large-scale events like "SIGNature" taught me the intricacies of event planning, from logistics to audience engagement. Additionally, managing workshops enhanced my ability to communicate effectively and adapt to different learning styles. Overall, these experiences have enriched my personal growth and equipped me with valuable skills for future endeavors.
